DESCRIPTION OF CONTROLS
RETURN HOME (AUX 9)
When On, the camera will return to pre-position 1 after 2
minutes of pan, tilt, and/or zoom inactivity.
AUTO-FOCUS ACTIVATION (AUX 12)
When On,auto-focus is activated automatically upon pan or tilt
AUTO-SPEED (AUX 16)
When On, this command provides variable pan speed when
unit is operated from a fixed speed location. The pan speed
starts slowly and increases as the pan control is held on. The
speed resets to slow when the pan control is released.
Note: DIP Switch S2005.4 must be in the OFF position to use
this command; see DIP Switch Settings in the applicable
Instructions for Use for additional information.
SPOT FOCUS (AUX17)
When On, auto-focus is activated momentarily upon stopping
of a pan, tilt, or zoom operation. This is the factory default
setting and generally gives the best auto-focus performance.
BACKLIGHT COMPENSATION (AUX 20)
Backlight compensation is a feature that gives the viewer the
ability to look at a dark object against a bright background.
Normally, the camera determines the video level for the entire
field-of-view. This means that a dark object will appear too
dark to the viewer if the background is extremely bright.
Backlight compensation will help in this situation. Use this
mode only to compensate for a backlit condition.
Backlight Compensation Off: Issuing this command disables
the camera's backlight compensation mode. (AUX 20 - Off.)
Backlight Compensation On: Issuing this command enables

ELECTRONIC SHUTTER (AUX 22, 23)
The electronic shutter is available as either ON or OFF. When
the electronic shutter is in the OFF mode, the shutter will be
fixed at 1/60 second (1/50 second for PAL). The ON mode is
an auto-shutter mode with the shutter ranging from 1/60
second (1/50 second for PAL) up to a maximum shutter of
1/90000 second (1/100000 second for PAL). The purpose of
this auto-shutter mode is to extend the usable light range in
high bright scenes.
Electronic Shutter Off: Issuing this command will disable the
camera's electronic shutter. (AUX 23 - OFF.)
Electronic Shutter On: Issuing this command will turn on the
camera's auto-electronic shutter. (AUX 23 - ON.)
WHITE BALANCE (AUX 30, 35)
Auto White Balance On: Issuing this command turns on the
automatic white balance. The white balance setting adjusts
continuously as the color temperature of the scene changes.
This mode is recommended for situations where the color
temperature of the scene varies during shooting. (AUX 30 -
ON.)
