ALM-2R (Wireless) Alarm Installation Instructions
The ALM-2R alarm system features a battery operated wireless transmitter that is placed in a tank (up to 150 feet away from the
indoor alarm). When the high water alarm fl oat switch activates, the transmitter sends a signal and sounds the indoor alarm warning
of a potentially threatening liquid level condition. The horn can be silenced, but the alarm light remains on until the condition is
remedied. Once the condition is cleared, the alarm will automatically reset.
The ALM-2R alarm system monitors liquid levels in lift pump chambers, sump pump basins, holding tanks, sewage, agricultural,
effl uent fi lters, and other water applications.
ALM-2R ALARM FEATURES
 120 VAC Voltage - Primary: 120 VAC, 60 Hz, 2.4 watts maximum (alarm condition); Operating Voltage: 9 VDC.
 NEMA 1 enclosure rated for indoor use.
 Automatic alarm reset.
 Red "alarm" light and green "power on" light, alarm "test" switch, and horn "silence" switch.
 6 foot (1.8 meter) power cord.
 Alarm horn sounds at 87 decibels at 10 feet (3 meters).
 If primary power fails, the alarm system continues to work due to battery backup feature. Battery Backup Power:
9 VDC (Battery not included.)
 Package includes standard SJE MilliAmpMaster™ with 10 feet (3.04 meters) of cable with transmitter.
 Switching mechanism operates on low voltage and is isolated from the power line to reduce the possibility of shock.
 Low battery chirp.
 Loss of signal alarm. After 24 hours without a signal the red LED will fl ash. After 7 days without a signal the alarm will
sound.
 External terminal block for an optional local alarm fl oat.
ALM-2R TRANSMITTER FEATURES
 Wireless transmitter with up to 150 foot range
 Long life 3.6V lithium battery (recommended replacement 2 years)
Periodically inspect the product. Check that the cable has not become worn or that the housing has not been damaged so as to impair the preformance of the product.
Replace the product immediately if any damage is found or suspected.
Periodically check to see that the fl oat is free to move and operate the switch.
Replace batteries as specifi ed in instructions.
Use only Liberty Pumps replacement parts.
Liberty Pumps, Inc. warrants that products of its manufacture
are free from all factory defects in material and workmanship
for a period of 3 years from the date of purchase. The date of
purchase shall be determined by a dated sales receipt noting
the model and serial number. The dated sales receipt must
accompany the returned product if the date of return is more
than 3 years from the date of manufacture noted on the product.
The manufacturer's obligation under this Warranty shall be
limited to the repair or replacement of any parts found by the
manufacturer to be defective, provided the part or assembly is
returned freight prepaid to the manufacturer or its authorized
service center, and provided that none of the following warranty-
voiding characteristics are evident:

the product has not been properly installed; if it has been
disassembled, modified, abused or tampered with; if the

purpose, are limited to three years from date of purchase.
The Warranty contains the exclusive remedy of the purchaser,
and, where permitted, liability for consequential or incidental
damages under any and all warranties are excluded.
