iMULTIMIX9R QUICK START OWNERS MANUAL
1.
Make sure all items listed on the front of this guide are included in the box.
2.
READ SAFETY INSTRUCTION BOOKLET BEFORE USING THE PRODUCT.
3.
Study the setup diagrams on the following pages.
4.
Place the iMultiMix9R in an appropriate position for operation.
5.
Make sure all devices are turned off and all volumes are at "zero".
6.
Connect all input and output sources as indicated in the diagrams and accompanying notes.
7.
Connect the outputs to the power amplifier(s), recorders, or other audio devices.
8.
Plug your iMultiMix9R and other devices into AC power.
9.
Place your iPod in the universal dock.
10.
Switch everything on in the following order:
Audio input sources
External effects, recording devices or equalizers
The iMultiMix9R
Last, any amplifiers
11.
When turning off, always reverse this operation by powering down:
Amplifiers
The iMultiMix9R
External effects, recording devices or equalizers
Last, any input devices
12.
Go to http://www.alesis.com for product registration.

CONNECTIONS: FRONT PANEL

1.
Connect your iPod to the docking connector on the front of the iMultiMix. Use the included thumbwheel to
adjust the back plate behind the iPod. The back plate should be adjusted to support the iPod comfortably but
not so tightly as to strain the connection of the iPod to the electrical connector built into the base of the dock.
2.
Attach a pair of stereo headphones to the [HEADPHONES] jack.
