jointly via the combined button (5).

Maintenance and care

Do not store or use the uni 12_75K and accessories
in extreme temperatures in excess of 60°C, as this
can lead to malfunctions and deformation of parts.
The uni 12_75K has been designed for use in tempe-
ratures between + 5 °C and 40 °C.
Disconnect the mains cable (7) from the power out-
let, before installing or removing a slat base. Do not
feed cables through the adjustment mechanism to
prevent damage to electronic parts or personal inju-
EN
ry. Ensure that the different comfort zones of the slat
base are not blocked, as this can cause overheating
and damage to the motors.
Do not place heavy objects on the cable to prevent
damage. In case of damage to the cable or accesso-
ries, disconnect the mains cable (7) from the pow-
er outlet and have them checked by your Swissflex
stockist. Clean the uni 12_75K and accessories with
a dry cloth only. Do not use detergents or chemical
substances. For safety reasons, change the batte-
ries in the uni 12_75K motor housing every 3 years to
prevent leakages. Swissflex recommends the use of
leak-proof 9 V block batteries. In case of contact with
the battery fluid, wash the affected area with plen-
ty of water and seek medical assistance. Batteries
must be disposed of through a specialist retailer.
Changing the batteries in the motor housing
Carefully remove the battery from the battery clips.
Place two 9 V block batteries into the compartment,
paying attention to the +/- markings. The battery in
the motor housing provides power in case of a power
failure.
Behaviour in case of malfunctions
In case of malfunctions with your uni 12 _75K, con-
sult the following troubleshooting tips. If the prob-
lem cannot be resolved, disconnect the uni 12_75K
from the power outlet and contact your Swissflex
stockist.
The uni 12_75K does not work despite being swit-
ched on and all components being connected pro-
perly
Disconnect the mains cable (7) from the power out-
let. Wait a minute and then reconnect it. If necessa-
ry, use a bedside lamp to check that mains voltage
(110–240 V) is present. If no voltage is present, check
the fuse. As the remote control of the uni 12_75K
is equipped with micro-processors, irregulatities in
