FUNCTIONING PRINCIPLE

The air cleaner sucks the air through the entry
grille, it then passes through a metallic pre-filter
which withholds the bigger impurities, and pro-
ceeds towards the electrostatic filter. The system is
made of high tension metallic plates, placed fron-
tally. The polluting particles enter in this device
and, because of the electrostatic effect, they are
pre-loaded positively onto one plate and then
gathered negatively onto another. In this way
more than 95% of the impurities are captured.
The air continues its way through the activated
carbon filter (which is assembled on request),
which absorbs and withholds smokes and smells.
At the end of the cycle, the negative ions are freed
into the room, improving the bioclimatic charac-
teristics of the air and favouring the activities of
the people who live or work in these areas.
2 REMOTE CONTROL
The working of the air cleaner is carried out by an
infrared remote control; for a correct transmission
the remote control must be necessarily turned
towards the receiver, which is placed on the con-
trol panel. The receipt of the signal is confirmed by
an acoustic signal.

2.1 HOW TO MODIFY THE TRANSMISSION CODE OF THE DT-DS-DSC-DTI 200 REMOTE CONTROL
If there is more than one air cleaner installed in the same room, it could be necessary to diversify the tran-
smission code of the remote control, in order to avoid the transmission of data to other units equipped with
the same electronics.
In order to carry out this easy but indispensable operation, you only have to press the key on the machine
panel for more than 5 seconds.
On the display of the air cleaner you will see a "P": at this point the unit is ready to acknowledge the new
transmission code which will be memorised by pushing the "ON-OFF" key of the remote control.
N.B.: You must push the "ON-OFF" key, in order to memorise the new code, before the writing on the
display disappears.
2.2 HOW TO MODIFY THE TRANSMISSION CODE OF THE DTI 300 REMOTE CONTROL
If there is more than one air cleaner installed in the same room, it could be necessary to diversify the tran-
smission code of the remote control, in order to avoid the transmission of data to other units which have
the same electronics. In order to carry out this easy but indispensable operation, you only have to press the
key on the machine panel for more than 5 seconds. On the display of the air cleaner the red and yellow leds
light up simultaneously; at this point the unit is ready to receive the new transmission code which will be
memorized by pushing the "ON-OFF" key of the remote control.
N.B: The "ON-OFF" key for memorizing the new code must be pressed before the leds which are present on the
display disappear.
