Congratulations on your Sunforce Solar Security System. This stand-alone solar alarm system can be
installed outdoors to protect any outdoor remote structure such as a shed, barn, cottage or any other
structure.
Please read these instructions thoroughly prior to installation, then store in a safe place for future

Charging
Prior to first use - charge your solar alarm system for at least 3 hours through the AC wall adapter.
Unit will then recharge itself when placed in direct sunlight in upright position with panel facing the
sun
Insert batteries into door contact and into motion sensor
Buttons on the bottom back of the alarm unit
Synchronizing the Alarm with the Remote Controls, the Door/Window Gap Detectors and the PIR
Detector
1. Press the black Learn button on the back of the alarm unit (3
stay on in the front red housing, indicating synchronization mode.
2. Remote Control - Extend the antenna on the remote control and press the Synchronization button
(lightning bolt) until LED 7 stops blinking in the front red housing of the alarm.
Repeat Steps 1 and 2 for the other remote.
3. Door Contact Synchronization - Repeat Step 1 and extend the antenna on the Door/Window Gap
Detector, then separate its two pieces until LED 7 stops blinking in the front red housing of the
alarm.
4. PIR Motion Detector Synchronization - Repeat Step 1 and extend the antenna on the PIR Detector,
turn the side switch to ON until LED 7 stops blinking in the front red housing of the alarm.
Test synchronization and system functionality before mounting by arming alarm and separating door
contacts or motion in front of motion sensor.
