4. Assembly and initial use
CAUTION! Even if the appliance is not being used, always disconnect the mains
plug from the socket before inserting the individual parts or cleaning.
1.
Take the appliance out of the package and remove all the packaging materi-
al. Check the appliance for completeness.
2.
Remove the grill plate by pressing the unlocking buttons and take them
out.
3.
Before using it for the first time, clean the grill plate with warm water and a
mild cleaning agent. Then thoroughly dry the components.
4.
Replace the grill plates. Make sure that they lock in place to ensure a
proper fit.
5.
Ensure that the drip tray is inserted correctly at the bottom of the appli-
ance. The guide rail helps to insert the tray properly.
6.
Connect the plug to a properly installed socket before commissioning.
Ensure that the voltage on the specification plate matches that of your
domestic power supply.
Note: Do not use any aggressive or chemical cleaning agents.
5. Modes
Smart mode
The smart mode automatically sets the temperature and heating time depending
on the selected program.
1.
Insert the mains plug into the socket and you hear a beep.
