Make Connections to Pump
1. Suction Tubing.
2. Sensor Electrical Connection.
3. Discharge Tubing. Route the discharge tube to a suitable drain, avoiding restrictions.

Positioning The Pump
Install in a dry position.
1.In False Ceiling.
2. Inside Trunking.
3. Inside Air Handler.
Note. Reduce Vibration Noise.
Mount on refrigeration pipe insulation or on foam barrier.
Wrap in foam to isolate pump and tubing from air handler casing.
Testing.
Carefully and slowly pour water into the collection Tray until pump starts, removes water and
switches off before pumping air. Repeat until all tubes are primed.
Check for Leaks.
This pump should not run dry.
Trouble-shooting
Noisy Pump
Check for Pumping Air
If Pumping Air:
Check for Siphoning.
Check Sensor Suction Tube connection is at lowest position.
Check Suction Tube For Leaks.
Mount Pump on Rubber Foam.
Not Pumping
Check Filter, Clean and refit.
Check tubes for obstructions or pinching.
Check power supply fuse.
Leaking Wate
r .Check Tube Connections.
Check Vent Tube Position.
Check Evaporating Coil is not frosting up, causing excessive defrost water.

instructions it will give long and reliable service. If any fault develops check
first the fault-finding section of this leaflet. If the product fails within 2 years
of installation, due to a defect in either materials or manufacture, then it will
be replaced or repaired by the manufacturer, provided it can be clearly shown
that it has been installed, maintained and used as shown in these instructions.

Electrical Connections
A high-level alarm switch should be wired into the cooling signal wire, to prevent the continued operation
of the air conditioning unit in the event of the pump failing.
IMPORTANT: This diagram is an example of how the pump could be installed and is therefore for
reference only. All pump units must be installed by qualified engineers, who have assessed
the set-up of the individual a/c unit.
