CHANNEL MONITORING:
This function turns off the noise reduction, allowing you to listen to
weaker broadcasters on the selected channel.

ROGER BEEP:

As soon as you release the PTT button, and thus stop transmitting,
the videophone will send a roger beep tone. Now the other party
knows you're done speaking and he or she can send back.
See page 15 if you prefer to turn this function off.
KEY TONES:
A confirmation tone will sound when pressing any button except for
the PTT button. See page 81 if you prefer to turn this function off.
