The R-100035 Curing Light is used for fast effective curing of photo-polymerisable materials
commonly used in the dental field. Its frequency range is 350 - 400 nanometers. Please read thoroughly
the following instructions for correct use of this machine to obtain maximum output.
INSTALLATION
Carefully unpack the Curing Light. Check that it has not been damaged in transit.
Place the unit on a flat and firm surface well away from heat sources or vibrations.
In order to avoid damage during transport, the lamps (4 x 9 W) are supplied disconnected. To install
them, remove the tray and then place each lamp in its holder. Do this carefully to avoid possible
breakage.
Connect the machine to a 230 V, 50/60 Hz power supply with earth.
Activate the main switch at the back of the machine. The machine is ready for operation.
HOW TO USE THE CURING LIGHT
Remove the tray and place on it the parts to be cured (4 pieces maximum).
Place the tray back on the machine and select the time with the timer. Curing time goes from 0 to 15
minutes.
The lamps inside will light up. When the time selected ends, the timer will emit an acoustic signal.
Lamps emit UV radiation which may be harmful to eyesight. If you have to open the tray while the
machine is working, disconnect it first.
When the cycle finishes, remove the cured parts.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

Curing Lights have a limited life span. We recommend changing the lamps between 500 (ideal) to
1,000 (maximum) working hours.
There is a fuse holder on the power cable base. Change the fuse (2 A) when required.
The machine should be cleaned periodically with a damp soapy cloth. Before cleaning the machine,
disconnect from the power supply.
PRECAUTIONS
♦ Before connecting the machine, make sure it has 230 V, 50/60 Hz with earth.
♦ When cleaning the machine, do not immerse it in any kind of liquid.
♦ Do not use the Curing Light when it is too damp or next to any inflammable product (alcohol or
solvents).
♦ Change the lamps carefully to avoid breakages.
♦ The Curing Light should only be used for curing Dental Materials.
