Operation
Inserting the battery
CAUTION
Risk of injury. The drill/driver may start inadvertently.
▶ Before fitting the battery, check that the drill/driver is switched off and that the switch safety
lock is activated.
CAUTION
Electrical hazard. Dirty contacts may cause a short circuit.
▶ Before inserting the battery, check to ensure that the battery terminals and the contacts in the
drill/driver are free from foreign objects.
CAUTION
Risk of injury. If the battery is not fitted correctly it may drop out and fall.
▶ Check that the battery is securely seated in the tool so that it cannot drop out and fall, thereby
presenting a hazard to other persons.
