1) SERIES 520 GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The clear trend towards the use of strobe light systems for emergency vehicle
signalling creates a need for new more powerful and versatile power supply units.
The SERIES 520 power supply units, with a programmable internal configuration,
have 4 outputs so as to be able to control from one to four strobe lights. (For the motorbike
version FA-520/M model, only 3 outputs are used). This version also has 6 function modes
which allow the lights which are required and the kind of multiple flash to be selected.
The power supply unit comes with a standard program, which allows the different
function modes to be selected by means of 3 external switches. The unit also has a high/low
intensity function which can be selected by means of a switch.
With an effective power of 50 W, it can be considered as a high performance device.
The electronic circuit is controlled by a microprocessor which can be programmed in
the factory with other special function modes if circumstances so require.
Two versions of the program exist within the SERIES 520:
Model FA-520: Version for cars.
Model FA-520/M: Version for motorbikes.
2) MODEL FA-520/M (Version for Motorbikes)
Model FA-520/M is a power supply unit especially programmed for the emergency
lighting equipment of motorbikes, consisting of two front strobes and one omnidirectional
rear strobe head.
