Caution:
Pay particular attention to the correct connection of connectors into the slots in the
back rest. Erroneous connection of these connectors may result in serious damage to
the DVD player, connectors or other components. Make sure that the connectors are
pushed into position properly. Only partially pushing the connectors into position may
result in malfunction of the DVD player or, in extreme cases, damage to these parts.
Fig No. 5
Mounting the holder with the DVD player to the back rest.
Insert the DVD player holder's guide rods into the M1 and M2 holes in the back rest. The
guide rods must be inserted fully so that the latching pins of the locks click into po-
sition. After the holder has been inserted into the holes in the back rest, pull the hol-
der towards yourself in order to make sure the holder is latched properly. Use the same
method to mount the holder of the auxiliary video monitor. When dismounting the DVD
holder push both the latching pins M1 and M2, slip out the DVD holder and disconnect
the connectors that connect the holder with the back rest.

Safety precautions.
– 6.1 When travelling, the holders must not be mounted in the back rests without an in-
stalled DVD player or auxiliary video monitor.
– 6.2 The holder incline can be adjusted to three latched positions. Take care not to
catch your fingers between the holder and back rest when changing the position of
the holder.
– 6.3 When the DVD player is installed, do not manipulate the back rests of the rear
seats to avoid damage to the DVD player or the auxiliary video monitor.
Caution:
For safety reasons, it is recommended to carry out the assembly of the DVD player and
holder only once. Repeated assembly/disassembly of the DVD player to/from the holder
may result in the occurrence of undesirable mechanical vibrations.
The audio signal from the DVD player can be replayed via the vehicle's audio system or
separately through the earphones/loudspeakers of the DVD player.
When replaying the audio signal via the vehicle loudspeakers we recommend turning off
the loudspeakers of the actual DVD player to avoid mutual interference of the signal.
If you wish to reproduce the acoustic signal from the DVD player through the vehicle's
loudspeaker system, a check must be made according to the User's Manual to the ra-
dio/navigation to see whether or not the specific device has activated the external au-
dio input. If this input is not activated, activate it (see the Manual for the original Ško-
da radio/navigation)
