5 LEGEND OF LEDS /
CONNECTION STATUS
51 LED
INTERNAL LED
This LED is red and is always lit up continuously;
indicating that the stove and communication module are
communicating properly
EXTERNAL LED
This LED lights up depending on the module's connection
status; it may be lit up continuously or flash, green or red.
Various solutions are described below.
52 CONNECTION STATUS
START-UP PHASE (Green/Red LED)
After connecting the communication module's power
cord to the power socket, the LED is lit up continuously
in red, and then switches to green; this indicates that
the communication module is in the start-up phase. This
phase lasts for about 30 seconds.
ACCESS POINT (AP) STATUS (green LED)
After the end of the start-up phase, the communication
module goes into Access Point (AP) status: the LED is lit
up in green and flashes once.
"AP" refers to the factory status. This means that the
communication module is using its own Wi-Fi network:
"connboxXXXXX".
CLIENT STATUS (green LED)
When the user connects the communication module to
the Wi-Fi network at home, the Client status is activated.
The LED is lit up in green and flashes twice
The second pulse is green if the signal reception is good,
and red if it is poor. In both cases, the communication
module is correctly connected to the home network.
CONNECTION ERROR (red LED)
If the LED is flashing red, there is a connection error
between the communication module and the home Wi-
Fi network. This can occur, for example, when the Wi-Fi
router is disconnected or its password is changed.
In the case of any other problems, contact the technical
department of Jøtul.
