Explosion hazard
• Only operate the barbecue at the pressure
shown on the type plate. Only use pressure
regulators with a fixed setting which comply
with the national regulations.
• The barbecue shall only be used in an above
ground open air situation with natural ventila-
tion, without stagnant areas, where gas leakage
and products of combustion are rapidly dis-
persed by wind and natural convection.
• Do not use the barbecue if it is leaking, damaged
or does not operate properly.
• Do not place chemicals, flammable materials or
spray aerosols near the barbecue.
• Never use a naked flame to check for gas leaks.
• If you smell gas:
– Do not attempt to light the barbecue.
– Extinguish any naked flames.
– Disconnect from gas supply.
– Have the gas system checked by a specialist.
• Always attach or detach the gas cylinder out-
doors away from a naked flame, pilot light or
other source of ignition and only when the
barbecue is cool to touch.
• Do not allow the gas hose to come in contact
with any hot surfaces.
• Inspect the gas hose for damage such as burns,
chafings and kinks before each use.
Fire hazard
• Do not operate the barbecue within 100 cm of
any combustible material including walls and
ceiling.
• Gas cylinders must remain upright to prevent
liquid gas flareup.
• Do not place any objects other than food on or
against the barbecue.
• Never place the barbecue near flammable
materials (paper, dry leaves, textiles).
• Keep flammable objects away from the burner.
• In case of fire shut off the gas supply.
Burn hazard
• Do not move the barbecue during use.
• Use protective gloves when handling hot
components.
• Leave the barbecue to cool down properly
before you touch it with bare hands.
• Accessible parts may be very hot. Keep young
children away.
• The use of alcohol or prescription or non-pre-
scription drugs may impair your ability to
properly assemble or safely operate this device.
Health hazard
• Only operate the barbecue when an adult can
attend to it.

• After use always disconnect the liquid gas
cylinder.
• Store liquid gas cylinders away from heating or
cooking devices and other light or heat sources
in a well-ventilated area out of the reach of chil-
dren.
• Never store liquid gas cylinders in unventilated
areas or below ground level (funnel-shaped
holes in the ground).
• Never store liquid gas cylinders in buildings
such as garages.
• Any indoor storage must comply with national
regulations.
• Do not store liquid gas cylinders on their side.
• Keep liquid gas cylinders away from direct
sunlight. The temperature should not exceed
50 °C.
