avoid holes, ruts, bumps, rocks, property stakes, or other hidden objects. Uneven terrain could
cause a slip and fall accident.
Mow across the face of slopes, never up and down. exercise extreme caution when changing direction
on slopes.
Plan your mowing pattern to avoid discharge of material toward roads, sidewalks,
bystanders and the like. also, avoid discharging material against a wall or obstruction, which may cause the
material to ricochet back toward the operator.
Do not mow on wet grass or excessively steep slopes. Poor footing could cause a slip and fall
accident. Walk, never run.
Slopes are a major factor related to slip-and-fall accidents, which can result in severe injury.
operation on slopes require extra caution. If you feel uneasy on a slope, do not mow it. If the slope is greater than
15 degrees, do not mow it.
Do not pull the mower backward unless absolutely necessary. If you must back the mower away
from a wall or obstruction, first look down and behind to avoid tripping or pulling the mower over your feet.
never direct discharged material toward anyone. avoid discharging material against a wall or
obstruction. Material may ricochet back toward the operator. Stop the blade when crossing gravel surfaces.
if the mower should start to vibrate abnormally, stop the motor and check immediately for
the cause. Replace the blade if it is unevenly worn or damaged in any way. Vibration is generally a warning of
trouble.

recharge only with the charger specified by the manufacturer. a charger that is suitable for one
type of battery pack may create a risk of fire when used with another battery pack.
Use mowers only with specifically designated battery packs. Use of any other battery packs may
create a risk of injury and fire.
When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects, like paper clips, coins,
keys, nails, screws or other small metal objects, that can make a connection from one terminal to another. Shorting
the battery terminals together may cause burns or a fire.
Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery; avoid contact. If contact
accidentally occurs, flush with water. If liquid contacts eyes, additionally seek medical help. liquid ejected from the
battery may cause irritation or burns. (This advice is considered correct for conventional Ni-Mh, Ni-Cd, lead acid and
lithium-ion cell types. If this advice is incorrect for a cell design that differs from these, then the correct advice may
be substituted.)
Do not use a battery pack that is damaged or modified. Damaged or modified batteries may exhibit
unpredictable behavior resulting in fire, explosion or risk of injury.
Do not expose a battery pack to fire or excessive temperature. exposure to fire or temperature
above 40°C or low 0°C may cause explosion.
Follow all charging instructions and do not charge the battery pack outside of the temperature
range specified in the instructions. Charging improperly or at temperatures outside of the specified range may
damage the battery and increase the risk of fire.
Have servicing performed by a qualified repair person using only identical replacement
parts. This will ensure that the safety of the product is maintained.
Do not modify or attempt to repair the battery pack (as applicable) except as indicated in the
instructions for use and care.
