Changing the brakes
Regularly check the wear of the brake pads on the front brakes. If the braking
function is inadequate, replace the brake pad by unscrewing the old one and
screwing in a new brake pad in the same position. Suitable brake pads may be
found at bicycle shops.
Tighten screws
Check that all screws and nuts are tight.
Repairs
Repairs to the appliance should be carried out by an authorised workshop.
Any rebuilding or modifi cation of the device will aff ect product safety.

Incorrect reassembly may result in malfunction or total failure. We assume no liability for
consequential damages after any technical changes and errors.
Safekeeping and Storage
If the vehicle is out of operation for a long period of time, it is advisable to remove the fuse and to
cover the battery and the vehicle.
1. Remove fuse: See the 'fuse' section of this manual.
2. Disconnect the battery: Unscrew the running board and dis-
connect the battery connections as shown.
3. Cover vehicle: Completely cover the vehicle with a cloth or tarp
to protect it from external infl uence, such as pollution or dirt.
Store the vehicle in a dry place at an ambient temperature of 5
to 35 ° C.

According to the European waste regulation 2002/96/EG this symbol on the product

te. Instead it should be taken to the appropriate collection point for the recycling of
