RPB Wireless Panic Button
The RPB is a FastLink technology wireless panic button, designed for the FORCE Series intruder alarm systems. The FastLink
communication is encrypted using true, 128-bit AES encryption for a high level of security. Using the RPB requires the installation of a
wireless receiver.
When pushed for two seconds, the RPB transmits a panic signal to the control panel.
The RPB button has a modern design, and it is supplied with a neck lanyard. It is battery operated and it alerts on low battery
condition. The RPB's LED indicates on every transmission and when the battery is low.

The RPB red LED blinks once on every transmission; if the battery is low, it blinks three more times.
How to install the battery
The RPB is operated by a CR2032, 3V Lithium battery. The battery's life expectancy is three years, with an average of 20 activations
per day.
Low battery condition is detected when the battery voltage drops below 2.6V. After that the battery can last for up to one month, but it
should be replaced immediately!
To install a new battery, do the steps that follow.
1. Insert a slotted screwdriver to the four notches on upper and bottom sides of the unit, and open it.
2. Take out the PCB and remove the battery.
3. Insert a new battery with the '+' side up, and put the PCB back in place.
4. Close the unit by pressing it firmly, including around the button, until clicked into place.
5. Fasten the supplied screw on the back side.

7. Test the RPB, using the
Cleaning
Clean the RPB with a soft cloth. Do not use abrasive or solvent-based cleaners, or allow it to become wet.
