Winding a bobbin
If the thread on a bobbin
another type of thread, the bobbins can be quickly and easily wound using the
sewing machine.
1. Extend the spool pin
2. Take an empty bobbin and pull thread through one of the small holes from
the inside out. Leave approx. 4" (10 cm) of thread hanging out.
3. Activate the bobbin winder
pressing on the bobbin winder and turning the handwheel
counterclockwise (see Fig. D).
4. Put the bobbin on the bobbin winder until it is locked in place.
5. Hold onto the end of the thread with one hand and then press the on/off

switch
or the foot pedal
wound around the spool.
6. Hold the thread to be wound between the thumb and forefinger of the
other hand and guide it so that it is evenly wound on the bobbin (see Fig. C).
7. Stop after a few revolutions and cut off the excess thread on the bobbin
side.
8. Turn on the sewing machine again until the desired length of thread is
wound.
9. Stop the sewing machine and remove the bobbin.
10. Use a thread cutter
Changing the needle
CAUTION!
Risk of injury!
Improper handling of the sewing machine may result in injury.
− Make sure to turn off and unplug/disconnect the sewing
machine.
− Remove the batteries from the sewing machine before
replacing the needle.
