7. Connect the clutch cable end to
the clutch lever and install the
clutch lever to the clutch lever
holder.
8. Install the lever pivot bolt (L) (6),
(R) (7), washer (9) (LH only),
spacer (5) (LH only) and the
new nut. (LH and RH)
Tighten the lever pivot bolt (L),
(R) and nut to the specified
torque. (LH and RH)
Tightening torque
Lever pivot bolt: 5.9 N·m (0.59
kgf-m, 4.3 lbf-ft)
Nut: 5.9 N·m (0.59 kgf-m, 4.3 lbf-
ft)
9. Adjust the clutch cable play and
set the clutch cable boot (10).
2. Installation of Knuckle Cover
1. Referring to the illustration, assemble the bolt, handlebar balancer
(3), knuckle cover spacer (4), balancer cushion, washer, expander,
expander spacer and nut to the knuckle cover (L) (1) and (R) (2)
respectively.
