Problem
The sewing
machine
does not
start.
The thread
tears.
There is a
loop in the
stitching.

Possible cause
Foot pedal: The foot pedal is
not properly connected to the
sewing machine.
Battery operation: The batteries
have been inserted incorrectly
or are empty.
Electric operation: The power
adapter is not properly plugged
into the power outlet or the
cord is not properly connected
to the sewing machine.
The power outlet is defective.
The upper/lower thread is not
threaded properly.
The upper/lower thread is
tangled.
The tension of the upper thread
is too high.
The spool of thread or bobbin
was not put in place correctly.
The needle is bent or blunt.
The combination of needle size/
thread size/fabric is incorrect.
The wrong bobbin was used.
The thread tension is incorrect.
The presser foot is not pressed
down.
Solution
Check the connection and
reconnect it if necessary.
Reinsert the batteries.
Check the connections/
reconnect the power cord
again.
Try another power outlet.
Check the power supply
fuse.
Rethread the thread.
Rethread the thread.
Reduce the tension using
the tension regulator for
the upper thread.
Reposition the spool of
