telemark BinDings accessories
Telemark bindings must offer a wide range of versatility in order for
each model to be customized according to the user's ability and the
binding's performance requirements. Black Diamond Equipment,
Ltd. provides the following Binding Accessories for the O1, O2 and O3
models, that will address many, if not all, of the needs encountered by
users of all abilities.
Three different choices of interchangeable binding cartridges are
available and compatible on all models. Different stiffnesses in
springs allow for a binding to be quickly customized depending
on desired binding performance and the user's style, weight and
boot characteristics. When a stiffer system is needed, it's always
recommended that a user choose a stiffer cartridge rather than over-
tightening the existing binding cartridges, which shortens the spring
travel and can cause premature wear or possible failure.
options

amount of flexing resistance. Ideal for lighter skiers with softer flexing

◆ MidStif f—The most versatile car tridge with moderate f lex
resistance for active telemarkers using plastic boots such as the
Push and Stilleto (101 N/cm spring rate). Offered in standard and
short sizes.
◆ Ridiculously Stiff—The stiffest cartridge available. Provides
maximum flex resistance for aggressive or heavier skiers using
high-performance plastic boots (131 N/cm spring rate).
