Changing the grinding belt.
Before any work on the machine itself, pull
the power plug of the belt grinder from the
socket outlet.
Lower the contact wheel (16) with the star-
knob bolt (28).
Replace the grinding belt (see GI 150 Oper-
ating Instructions).
Adjust the tracking of the belt as already
described.
Adjust the contact wheel and the brake
wheel.
Shut the protective covers.
Extraction device.
The machine can be connected via the connec-
tion sleeve to an undercarriage or base unit with
dust extraction.
Repair and customer service.
Repairs may be carried out only by quali-
fied persons in conformity with the valid
regulations.
For repairs, we recommend our FEIN customer
service centre, the FEIN authorised service cen-
tres and FEIN agencies.
Carry out the following maintenance regularly:
Blow out the ventilation slots at the motor
housing and the marked locations with
compressed air.
Lubricate the machine daily (when in use)
with machine oil at the locations marked.
Check the brake wheel and the contact
wheel for wear and damage each time when
changing the grinding belt. Have damaged
parts replaced.
Warranty and liability.
The warranty for the product is valid in accord-
ance with the legal regulations in the country
where it is marketed.

accordance with the FEIN manufacturer's guar-
