4. Place the lid on the milk container and press it down as far as it will go. The lid opening (7)
must be opposite the handle (PICTURE D).
5. Connect the base station (3) to a properly installed plug socket. The control lamp
selection button (4) lights up blue ("KALT (COLD)" programme is preset).
6. Set the programme you want by pressing the selection button. The control lamp
indicates the selected programme in the appropriate colour (see the "Preparation and
Operation" chapter – "Selection Button and Functions").
7. To start the programme, press the On / Off button (5). The control lamp
button lights up red while the programme is running and goes out as soon as the programme
has fi nished.
The programme can be aborted at any time by pressing the On / Off button.
The lid opening can be used during preparation to add cocoa powder, for example, to
the milk.
8. Remove the mains plug from the plug socket after use.
9. Carefully remove the milk container from the base station.
10. Transfer the heated milk or the milk froth to a suitable vessel.
a After the end of the "WARM" and "HEISS (HOT)" programmes, the heated milk
can easily be poured into a suitable vessel through the lid opening, just like a normal
pouring spout.
b After the end of the "KALT (COLD)" and "SCHAUM (FOAM)" programmes, the
milk can likewise be poured through the lid opening into a suitable vessel. Then take
off the lid and remove the milk froth using a spoon or similar implement.

Cleaning and Care

NOTICES
• Do not use any toxic, corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents or scouring sponges to clean
the device. These can damage the surface.
1. Empty the milk container (6) if necessary.
2. Wipe down the base station (3) with a damp cloth. If necessary, use a little mild detergent
to remove more intense soiling.
3. Clean the milk container and the lid (1) with warm water and mild detergent, or in the
dishwasher.
IMPORTANT! The stirring insert (8) must not be cleaned in the dishwasher! Only rinse
this off by hand. For more thorough cleaning, detach the ring from the stirring insert if
necessary.
