• Elektrischer Anschluß: Gerätesteckdose Typ 2506 an Anschluß-
steckerfahnen der Spule
• Achten Sie beim Verschrauben der Gerätesteckdose mit der
Spule auf einwandfreien Sitz der Flachdichtung!
Eingriffe dürfen nur durch Fachpersonal und mit geeignetem
Werkzeug erfolgen!
• Säubern Sie vor Montage des Ventils die Rohrleitungen!
• Beachten Sie die Durchflußrichtung!
• Befestigen Sie das Ventil mit den zwei mitgelieferten Schrauben
(M5x35) direkt an der NAMUR-Anschlußfläche des pneumatischen
Antriebs. Der mitgelieferte Kodierstift stellt sicher, daß das Ventil nur
in der vorgesehenen Lage montiert werden kann (Sicherstellung der
festgelegten Wirkrichtung des Antriebs).
HINWEIS: Die Ventile Typ 6517 NAMUR werden ab Werk in 5/2-
Wege-Funktion geliefert. Zum Umbau von der 5/2- in die 3/2-Wege-
Ausführung bzw. umgekehrt, drehen Sie die Wechselplatte um 180°.
Um die Funktion der integrierten Abluftrückfüh-rung zu gewährleisten,
verschließen Sie bei Verwendung als 3/2-Wegeventil den Anschluß 3
mit den mitgelieferten Verschlußstopfen G1/4.
• Setzen Sie bei Anschlußbuchsen aus Edelstahl unbedingt die
mitgelieferten Befestigungsschrauben aus Edelstahl ein.
• Verwenden Sie das Ventil auf keinen Fall als Hebel, wenn Sie die
Rohranschlüsse einschrauben!
• Vermeiden Sie Verspannungen beim Einbau des Ventilgehäuses!
• Störungen können durch Verschmutzung, Kurzschluß und
Spannungsunterbrechungen entstehen
• Überprüfen Sie bei Störungen Leitungsanschlüsse, Dichtungen,
Spannung, Stromart und Betriebsdruck!
HINWEIS: Für das Gerät gibt es keine Eratzteile! Um die Funktions-
sicherheit zu gewährleisten, empfehlen wir grundsätzlich eine
Reparatur durch den Hersteller.

To ensure that the device will function correctly, and have a
long service life, please comply with the information in
these Operating Instructions, as well as with the application
conditions and permissible data given in the Type 6517 NAMUR (EExi)
data sheet:
• When planning the application of the device, and during its operation,
observe the general technical rules!
• Take suitable measures to prevent unintentional operation or
impermissible impairment!
• Note that lines and valves must not be unscrewed from systems that
are under pressure!
• Always switch off the voltage supply before working on the system!
• ATTENTION! For explosion-proof models, data from the
conformity certificate PTB No. Ex-95.D.2160 must also be
complied with (see enclosure)!
• If these instructions are ignored, no liability will be accepted from our
side, and the guarantee on the device and on accessories will also
become invalid!
Application either as a 5/2-way or 3/3-way valve with a 3/2 way
pilot valve: Valve body with diaphragm and seat seal. (3/2, 5/2).
• Service ports 2 (B) / 4 (A) with interchangeable plate to the NAMUR
flange pattern, and supply and exhaust ports 1, 3 and 5 with G ¼
internal thread.
• Red indicator pin shows the pneumatic position: if the valve is not
activated, the pin can be pressed in, and if the valve is activated the
pin moves outwards. The indicating pin must be pushed in again
before every functional test.
• The valve requires no maintenance
Voltage, electrical power, pressure range and nominal
diameter are specified on the rating plate
• Electrical connection: unit socket type 2506 to tag connector of coil
• When screwing down the unit socket onto the coil, ensure that the flat
seal is well seated!
Work on the unit must only be performed by skilled personnel
using suitable tools!
• Clean the pipe runs before fitting the valve!
• Observe the direction of flow!
• Secure the valve directly to the NAMUR connection surface of the
pneumatic drive using the two supplied screws (M5x35). The supp-
lied coding pins ensure that the valve can only be mounted in the cor-
rect position (guaranteeing the defined direction of operation of the
drive).
NOTE: The Type 6517 NAMUR valve is supplied ex-works in the 5/
2-way function. To convert from the 5/2 to the 3/2 way function, or the
reverse, turn the interchangeable plate through 180°. In order to
ensure the function of the integrated waste air feedback, close off Port
3 using the supplied G ¼ stopper when using the 3/2-way function.
• With connection sockets made from stainless steel, always use the
supplied stainless steel fixing screws.
• Never use the valve body as a lever when screwing in the pipe
connections!
• Avoid distortion when assembling the valve case!
• Faults can be caused by dirt, short-circuits or interruptions to the
supply voltage.
• In case of faults, check the port connections, seals, voltage, type of
current and operational pressure!
NOTE: There are no replacement parts for the unit! In order to ensure
reliable functioning, we basically recommend having repairs carried out
by the manufacturer.
