Monthly Inspection
This is to perform the required Monthly Maintenance Check on the Fendall 2000™ with Heated Accessory.
1) Unplug the Heated Accessory.
2) Open the front access panel in the center of the front door. (Fig. 4)
3) Use screw driver or pen to push on release button.
4) While button is pressed in, gently pull door open (there should be no resistance, other than the Velcro™).
5) Push the blue button and hold for 3 seconds until a beep is heard to disarm the alarm. NOTE: Short beep once every 10
seconds indicates a low battery.
6) Inspect the nozzle for correct attachment, and hose for possible kinking. Re-position if needed. NOTE: Be sure the nozzle seal
is intact.
7) Unzip the Heated Accessory to check the Cartridge Expiration date through the window on the eyewash station. Check the
bellows to make sure that it is not in the deployed position and that the cartridge has not been activated. Replace the
cartridge if expired or activated.
8) Zip up the Heated Accessory and follow steps 9 - 11 on page 1.
If power is lost for any amount of time, the GFCI
will need to be manually reset for the Heated
Accessory to function.
