BEFORE USE

• Read the safety instructions carefully.
• Remove all packaging from the appliance and place it on a flat, stable surface, e.g. a kitchen counter, at a
safe distance from flammable objects.
• Clean the lid, bowl, and basket in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. Wipe the
housing using a soft, damp cloth or sponge.
• NOTE: The bowl and basket may be washed in a dishwasher.
• Attach the heating element and control panel assembly to the housing by sliding the rails on the inside
of the control panel into the grooves on the back of the housing. Make sure that the heating element is
pushed all the way to the bottom of the bowl.
NOTE: There is a safety switch on the control panel unit that will only be pushed in when it is fully slid

into place. If it is not installed correctly, the unit will not heat.
• The handle is stored folded into
the basket. Unfold the handle so
that it is in the correct position
and locked firmly in place.
