- The appliances are not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate
remote-control system.
When you first use the unit, the grill plates may emit some smoke. Do not worry because after few
uses the smoke will disappear.
- To avoid risk of burns, when the unit is working, only touch the knobs since
other parts may become very hot.
- Handle with care freshly-cooked food.
- CAUTION: The hot plate is different from the gas one: after turning off the product, plates
remain hot for several minutes and should never be touched.
- Use the product only for the purpose for which it was designed; using pots or containers
suitable for cooking.
- Use cooking containers suitable for the dimensions of the plates.
- Never leave the appliance unattended while it is running.
- Once finished using the appliance, unplug it and wait for the complete cooling of each part
before storing or cleaning the unit.
- Do not immerse the unit in water or other liquids. Do not leave it under the stream of tap water.
In any case avoid water or other liquids sliding on the cooking surfaces.
- Only use a soft sponge to clean the plates.
- Do not subject the unit to strong impacts, serious damage may result.
- Use only original and compatible accessories.
- Place the unit on a stable surface.
- When the unit is running, leave enough space on either side of the product.
- Keep away from flammable materials, heat, cold spots and steam, curtains or paper.
- Do not use as a support for objects.
- Considering the high power of the appliance, do not use multiple sockets to connect it to the
electrical outlet.

OPERATING
This electric hotplate is suitable for cooking and heating many foods through the use of normal
pots and pans.
- Place the unit on a flat and stable surface, leaving enough space at both sides of the unit, then
plug it to the power outlet.
- Set the desired temperature by turning the temperature control knob (1) between 1 and 8. The
plate becomes red and the operation light (2) illuminates, indicating that the plate (4) is running;
place the pot / pan on the plate.
- During cooking periodically check the condition of the food to prevent burning.
CAUTION: since it takes time to switch from high to low temperatures, the plates cool
down very slowly. Be careful to avoid overcooking or burning food.
- Once cooking is finished, set the knob (1) to "0" position, unplug the unit and wait for the
complete cooling of each part before cleaning.
After cleaning, to be carried out by following the instructions in the following paragraph, store
away from heat sources and out of the reach of children.
