3.i - RECORDING THE DATE OF REPLACEMENT
Note: in accordance with the reference standard,
years from installation and the replacement date indicated in the space provided on the
front of the box, as shown below (fig. 12).

Select the adhesive label corresponding to the month of installation (replacement) (e.g.
January = 01, October = 10), remove from the backing sheet and fix it to the appliance.

Select the label corresponding to the year of replacement (e.g.: Year of installation 2007 +
5 years: fix the label 2012), remove from the backing sheet and fix.

Record the date of installation, manufacture, replacement, installation area, contractor

stamp and signature in the spaces provided alongside.

4.i - CHECKING DETECTOR OPERATION
• Ensure that the detector has been connected to the mains for at least 1 minute.
• Spray test gas (not supplied)
switches on and the buzzer sounds intermittently.
• Stop spraying the gas into the detector vents and wait for a few seconds. The appliance
returns to "normal operating" status and all alarm signals are reset (fig. 3).
