Register the handset to a PowerTel 500, 580, 580 Combo

At the new PowerTel 501 additional handset:
Press and hold
key, which activates the registration mode.
For a PowerTel 500 or 580, at the base:

Register the handset to an older PowerTel model base
1. Open the menu by pressing

2. Scroll until Registration is highlighted and press
