3 USING THE STOVE
3.1 START-UP
Before starting the stove you must check the following:
• The brazier must be clean and free from any ashes
• The hopper must be adequately lled
• The hearth door, the hopper lid and the ash box must
properly closed
• The stove must be connected to the mains and the
switch turned to the ON position
The stove is turned on and off by holding down the ON
button (found on the control panel for a short time. ( g.

The stove will begin a start-up sequence ( g. 3.2 a-b-c
which is determined by the settings analysed by the unit.
When the stove is started the rst time, unpleasant odours or
smoke may be generated, caused by evaporation or drying
of certain materials used. This phenomenon will gradually
disappear.
The room should be well ventilated when starting the stove
the rst few times.
3.2 OPERATIONAL SETTINGS ADJUSTMENT
The following operational settings can be adjusted:

Oven temperature 50 - 260 °C (oven light always on

temperature might be reached.
