Electro-Torch Operational Guidelines

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Never allow any liquid to get inside the Electro-Torch or
immerse any part of the Electro-Torch into a liquid. Ensure
the intake openings and the housing are clean and free of
obstructions.
If necessary, use a soft, dry brush to clean the intake
opening and housing. Use only mild soap and a damp cloth
to clean the Electro-Torch housing. Do not use house-hold
cleaners, since many contain chemicals, which could
seriously damage the Electro-Torch housings. Do not use
gasoline, turpentine, lacquer, paint thinner, dry cleaning
fluids or similar products. Do not clean Electro-Torch while
turned on or plugged in.

STORAGE

Let the Electro-Torch nozzle cool to room temperature
before placing it in storage. Over time, the gun's high heat
will discolor the nozzle. This is normal and will not affect the
performance or life of the tool.
When the trigger is pressed, a fan draws cool air into the Electro-Torch and across a series of coils, producing super-heated air.
ATTENTION: The Electro-Torch is equipped with a special thermal protection feature. If a temperature high enough to damage
the unit is reached and sustained, the automatic thermal control will activate and shut off power until the components have
cooled. This can happen if the Electro-Torch is run for extended periods or if the airflow is obstructed and excess heat builds
up in the heating chamber. If you experience the unit not starting after use, allow it to cool 15-20 minutes for the thermal
protection switch to reset itself.

petroleum based products, penetrating oils, etc., come in

injury.
