HOW THE OWNER CAN MAKE A CLAIM: TAKE THIS REGISTRATION, YOUR SALES RECEIPT AND THE TANK TO THE LOWES STORE
SERVING YOUR AREA. THE STORE REPRESENTATIVE WILL VERIFY WARRANTY REGISTRATION WITH THE MANUFACTURER.
REGISTRATION IS A CONDITION OF WARRANTY - FILL OUT COMPLETELY AND MAIL THE WARRANTY REGISTRATION
CARD INCLUDED IN THIS MANUAL WITHIN 60 DAYS OF PURCHASE OF THE WATER TANK. IF YOU MISPLACE THE
CARD, OR IF THE REGISTRATION CARD HAS NOT BEEN INCLUDED IN THIS MANUAL, MAKE A PHOTOCOPY OF THIS
PAGE AND MAIL TO ADDRESS BELOW, OR CALL THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT AT THE NUMBER LISTED ABOVE.
LIFETIME LIMITED WARRANTY - RESIDENTIAL TYPE PRECHARGED PUMP TANK FOR INSTALLATION IN FAMILY
RESIDENTIAL UNIT
A. WHO IS COVERED: "The Company" (hereafter referred to as the "manufacturer") warrants only to the original consumer purchaser (hereafter
referred to as the "owner") of the pump tank so long as he or she continuously occupies the home or dwelling in which this pump tank is initially
installed for the period specified below. Return of the warranty registration card is a condition that must be satisfied before you have coverage. The
warranty is restricted to the pump tank used by a single-family residential unit for non-commercial purposes in the United States of America.
B. WHEN IS IT COVERED: The pump tank is warranted against failure only when installed, operated and maintained in accordance with the
printed instructions accompanying the pump tank.
C. WHAT THE MANUFACTURER WILL DO:
1. THE TANK - If the original tank fails after the original installation, within the lifetime of the original owner (as spelled out in A
above) "manufacturer" or its representative will furnish a new pump tank of manufacturer's prevailing comparable model (see 3). If
governmental regulations or industry-wide standards prohibit manufacturer or its representative from furnishing a comparable
model replacement pump tank under this warranty, the owner will be furnished with a new pump tank of comparable storage
capacity as permitted by such governmental regulations or industry-wide standards; however, the owner will be charged
for the additional value of the item(s) which manufacturer has incorporated in the replacement pump tank which does comply
with such governmental regulations or industry-wide standards.
2. RETURN OF THE DEFECTIVE PUMP TANK: manufacturer reserves the right to examine the alleged defect in the pump tank
or its component part(s), and it will be the owner's obligation to return the pump tank and or component part(s) to the manufacturer
or its representative.
(a) When returning a pump tank it must include all component part(s) and the warranty label.
(b) When returning component part(s), they must be tagged or labeled with the pump tank's model number and serial number
and date of installation.
(c) Take this registration, your sales receipt and the tank to the Lowes store serving your area. The store representative will
verify warranty registration with the manufacturer.
D. WHAT THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER:
1. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY SHALL BE THE EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY MADE BY THE MANUFACTURER AND IS MADE IN LIEU
OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WHETHER WRITTEN OR ORAL, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTY
OF MERCHANTABILITY AND IMPLIED WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
2. Manufacturer shall not be liable for any incidental, consequential, special or contingent damages or expenses, arising directly or
indirectly, from any defect in the pump tank or its components or from any use of the pump tank.
3. Manufacturer shall not be liable for any water damage arising, directly or indirectly, from any defect in the pump tank or its
component part(s). Further, manufacturer shall not be liable under this warranty if, including but not limited to;
(a) the pump tank or any of its component part(s) have been subject to misuse, alteration, neglect or accident; or
(b) the pump tank has not been installed in accordance with the applicable local building and/or plumbing code(s) and/or regulations; or
(c) the pump tank is not installed in accordance with the printed manufacturer's instructions; or
(d) the pump tank is not continuously supplied with potable water; or
(e) the pump tank does not have installed in the system in which it is used a suitable pressure relief valve, or:
(f) the pump tank is used in a commercial or industrial application.
4. The owner, and not the manufacturer, or his representatives, shall be liable for and shall pay for all field charges for labor or other expenses
incurred in the removal, repair or replacement of the pump tank or any component(s) claimed to be defective. Such charges may include, but are
not necessarily limited to:
(a) all freight, shipping and delivery costs of forwarding a new pump tank or replacement part to the owner.
(b) all costs necessary or incidental in removing the defective pump tank or component part(s) and installing a new pump or component part(s).
(c) any material required to complete, and/or permits required for, installation of a new pump tank or replacement part(s), and
(d) all costs necessary or incidental in returning defective pump tank or component part(s) to a location of nearest dealer of pump tank.
E. HOW STATE LAW MAY RELATE TO THIS WARRANTY: YOUR STATE MAY PROHIBIT OR PLACE LIMITATIONS ON THE MANUFACTURER'S
EXCLUSION OF CERTAIN WARRANTIES AND/OR MAY PROHIBIT OR LIMIT THE MANUFACTURER'S EXCLUSION OF CERTAIN
DAMAGES SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
F. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
*NOTE A PUMP TANK SHOULD BE INSTALLED IN SUCH A MANNER THAT IF THE TANK OR ANY CONNECTION THERETO SHOULD
LEAK, THE RESULTING FLOW OF WATER WILL NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE AREA IN WHICH IT IS INSTALLED. A PUMP TANK
SYSTEMS PRESSURE RELIEF VALVE MUST BE PIPED TO THE NEAREST DRAIN IN ORDER TO AVOID DAMAGE IN THE EVENT
THE VALVE IS ACTIVATED. FOR DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS REFER TO YOUR LOCAL PLUMBING AND/OR BUILDING CODE(S).
