Connecting to the air
compressor
DANGER: This product is specifically designed for
compressed air service only.
WARNING: Always turn compressor OFF, disconnect
from power source, and drain all pressure from system
before servicing.
NOTE: Use thread sealer or Teflon

When installing the regulator (A) to the outlet
port (FF) on the side of the air compressor
tank (GG), a reducer bushing (AA) will be
needed to reduce the threads so a pipe nipple
(BB) will fit. Reference Figure 1.
□
Thread a reducer bushing (AA) into the outlet
port (FF) and tighten using an adjustable
wrench.
□
Thread a pipe nipple (BB) into the reducer
bushing (AA).
□
Tighten the pipe nipple (BB) with either
an adjustable wrench or a pipe wrench,
depending on the type of pipe nipple used.

Thread the inlet port (II) of the regulator (A)
onto the end of the pipe nipple (BB).
NOTE: The air flow direction arrow (HH) on the bottom of
the regulator (A) must point towards the outlet port (JJ).

Tighten the regulator (A) using an adjustable
wrench.
□
Thread the gauge (B) into the open 1/8" port
on the regulator (A).
□
Tighten the gauge (B) using a 7/16" open end
wrench.
□
Thread either a quick connect coupler (CC) or
an air hose (EE) into the outlet port (JJ) of the
regulator (A).
□
Tighten using an adjustable wrench.
NOTE: When using a quick connect coupler (CC), thread
a quick coupler plug (DD) onto the end of the air hose (EE)
and tighten using an adjustable wrench.
NOTE: Insert the quick coupler plug (DD) into the quick
connect coupler (CC) and push to lock in place.
