3. Place the impression on the vacuum
plate (fig. 4)
TiP:
Ensure that the base of the
impression is not too high. If it is, the
sheet will be drawn occlusively too thin,
which increases the likelihood of cracks
in the incisal edges.
4. Swivel the heating element over the
frame with the deep-draw sheet (fig. 5).
Preheat the sheet until it hangs down by
2 to 3 centimetres (fig. 6)

5. Swivel the heating element to the rear
again. Switch on the vacuum motor and
use the handles (fig. 7) to pull the
frame down over the impression.
Allow the motor to run until the sheet
has cooled.
6. Remove the impression from the
deep-draw sheet (fig. 8) and cut away
the flat part of the sheet.
7. Snip or cut the sheet as indicated to
achieve the required result.
NOTE!
!! Only use earthed power outlets.
!! For indoor use only.
!! The CVF has overheating protection. The mechanism is automatically
activated when the CVF is used for too long.
!! Let the Cavex VacuFormer cool for at least 10 minutes after use.
This prevents overheating.
!! Do not leave the heating element over the handles for too long.
The intense heat could melt them. The handles could also become
hot enough to burn your hands.
