Usage:
Hama MyDISA serves the protection of your data.
With MyDiSa you can lock your SD/SDHC card
completely. A SD/SDHC card secured with MyDiSa can´t
be used by any computer. With the help of the software
you can lock your data (SD/SDHC card) by input of your
personal password. The MyDiSa software works only in
combination with the provided MyDiSa card reader. The
card reader also can be used for write and read data by
the conventional way.
By the status of "unlocked to process" if you remove the
card reader without an further locking of the SD/SDHC
card, an automatically locking will start. That process
should avoid the access to you SD/SDHC card in case of
forget to lock it by accident.
Installation:
Start "MyDiSa Setup.exe" on provided CD.
Follow instructions on monitor.
Use of Software:
• Start the MyDiSa software with a double-click on Icon
on your Desktop.
• Select your language and confi rm with „OK".
Put the MyDiSa card reader with inserted memory card
into a USB port. The storage medium is recognized.
If you change further SD cards, you can fi nd these with
„scanning ".
Padlock shows status (locked/ unlocked)
LOCKING SD/SDHC CARD:
• Select „new password" and enter any password
inclusive identical repetition.
• Depending on the password security level the
background changes the color.
Up to 4 signs - red
Up to 6 signs - yellow
More than 8 signs – green = highest security level
• Confi rm with „OK".
= low security level
= higher security level
