IMPORTANT REMARKS
For any installation problems please contact V2 ELETTRONICA
TEL. (+39) 01 72 81 24 11
V2 ELETTRONICA has the right to modify the product without previous notice;
it also declines any responsibility to damage or injury to people or things
caused by improper use or wrong installation.
Please read this instruction manual very carefully before installing and
programming your control unit.
• This instruction manual is only for qualified technicians, who specialize in
installations and automations.
• The contents of this instruction manual do not concern the end user.
• Every programming and/or every maintenance service should be done only by
qualified technicians.
AUTOMATION MUST BE IMPLEMENTED IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE EUROPEAN
REGULATIONS IN FORCE:
EN 60204-1
(MACHINERY SAFETY. ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT OF MACHINES,
PART 1: GENERAL RULES)
EN 12445
(SAFE USE OF AUTOMATED LOCKING DEVICES, TEST METHODS)
EN 12453
(SAFE USE OF AUTOMATED LOCKING DEVICES, REQUIREMENTS)
• The installer must provide for a device (es. magnetotermical switch) ensuring
the omnipolar sectioning of the equipment from the power supply.
The standards require a separation of the contacts
of at least 3 mm in each pole (EN 60335-1).
• After making connections on the terminal board, use one hose clamp to fix
dangerous voltage wires near the terminal board and another hose clamp to
fix safety low voltage wires used for accessories connection; this way, in case
of accidental detachment of a conducting wire, dangerous voltage parts will
not come into contact with safety low voltage ones.
• The plastic case has an IP55 insulation; to connect flexible or rigid pipes, use
pipefittings having the same insulation level.
• Installation requires mechanical and electrical skills, therefore it shall be
carried out by qualified personnel only, who can issue the Compliance
Certificate concerning the whole installation (EEC Machine Directive 89/392,
Annex IIA).
• The automated vehicular gates shall comply with the following rules:
EN 12453, EN 12445, EN 12978 as well as any local rule in force.
• Also the automation upstream electric system shall comply with the laws and
rules in force and be carried out workmanlike.
• The door thrust force adjustment shall be measured by means of a proper
tool and adjusted according to the max. limits, which EN 12453 allows.
• We recommend to make use of an emergency button, to be installed by the
automation (connected to the control unit STOP input) so that the gate may
be immediately stopped in case of danger.
• Always remember to connect the earth according to current standards
(EN 60335-1, EN 60204-1).
PRGH433PLUS
PROGRAMMABLE CONTROL UNIT FOR ROLLING GATES WITH AUTOMATIC
CLOSING AND FLASHING LIGHT / COURTESY LIGHT
• 230 VAC output for 1 monophase motor max 1500 W.
• 230 VAC output for flashing light or courtesy light max 40 W.
• Input for key selector or button.
• Input for safety photocell.
• 433 MHz self-learning built-in receiver.
• Functioning logic programmable through dip-switches.
• Working time and pause time adjustment throgh 2 potentiometers.
• Input (START, STOP and PHOTOCELL) monitoring throgh 3 LED.
• Functioning with Personal Pass series transmitters.
• Possibility to store up to 83 different codes.
• IP55 plastic box.
By the portable programmer PROG2 it is possible to modify the content of the
receiver's memory, that is, to cancel the already memorized codes, to put in new
ones, ecc. To exploit the system's possibilities at its best you just have to
connect the PROG2 (with a serial cable RS 232C) to a personal computer: the
software WINPPCL, properly installed, enables you to carry out quickly the wished
operations and modify, file, print all necessary pieces of information for an
extensive management of the installations.
MEMORIZATION OF THE CODES VIA RADIO
To correctly memorize the code it is necessary to keep a minimum distance of
1,5 metres between the transmitter and the receiver's antenna.
It is possible to memorize transmitters by two different ways:
a) by radio
b) by means of SW1 push-button
a) Radio storing
• Press simultaneously the push-buttons 1+2 or 1+3 of a transmitter for at
least 5 seconds until the LED L1 and the FLASHING LAMP will be activated.
• Release the push-buttons
• Press the push-button of the new transmitter you want to memorize, keeping
it pressed until L1 led and the FLASHING LAMP will switch off: in fact the led
and the FLASHING LAMP switches off for about 1⁄2 second to confirm that
the code has been memorized correctly and it switches on again, afterwards
it will be ready for any other new code to memorize.
• Each time you memorize a new code, you will have to wait for the above
mentioned timeout of 5 seconds to finish the procedure.
NOTE: if no transmitter has been memorized yet, the radio storing phase can be
activated by means of any transmitter. On the contrary, if one or more
transmitters have been already memorized, you will be able to activate the radio
storing phase only by means of a memorized transmitter.
b) Storing by means of SW1 push-button
• Press the button SW1 until the led L1 switches on.
• Press the button of the transmitter until the led L1 goes off: in fact the led
switches off for about 1⁄2 second to confirm that the code has been
memorized correctly and it switches on again, afterwards it will be ready for
any other new code to memorize.
• Each time you memorize a new code, you will have to wait for the above
mentioned timeout of 5 seconds to finish the procedure.
IMPORTANT: each memorized code is associated to the START only.
TOTAL CLEARING OF THE MEMORIZED CODES
Please proceed as follows:
• Disconnect the power supply.
• Press and keep pressed the programming button SW1: at the same time
restore power.
• The programming LED L1 flashes: release the button SW1
Now the 83 memory zones are empty and available for a new programming.
PROGRAMMING OF THE FUNCTIONING LOGIC
It is possible to obtain various functioning logics by simply making a combination
of the dip-switches on the circuit. Here below are the functions associated to
each single dip-switch.
