SPECIFIED USE

When fi tted with original metabo HPT accessories, the
machine is suitable for grinding and removing concrete,
screed and coatings with diamond cup wheels.
Do not use for abrasive cutting-off operations, roughing
work, sanding, polishing or fl ap disc work.
The machine must not be used with water.
NOTE
The ring brush may stick when thermoelastic
materials are processed.
The machine is suitable for commercial use in trade and
industry.
Always use a suitable dust extraction system: Connect
a vacuum cleaner (L-class and over) to the extractor
connection piece.
The user bears sole responsibility for any damage caused
by improper use.
Generally accepted accident prevention regulations and
the enclosed safety information must be observed.

ASSEMBLY AND OPERATION

INITIAL OPERATION

WARNING
Before plugging in the machine, check that the
rated mains voltage and mains frequency, as
specifi ed on the rating label, match your power
supply.
1. Fitting of bar auxiliary handle
WARNING
Always work with the bar auxiliary handle
attached! Fit the bar auxiliary handle as shown
(Fig. 2).
– Fit locking discs to the left and right of the gear
housing.
– Fit the bar auxiliary handle at the gear housing.
– Insert the thumb screws left and right into the bar
auxiliary handle and turn gently.
– Adjust the bar auxiliary handle to the required angle.
– Firmly tighten the thumb screws to the left and right
manually.

2. Dust extraction
WARNING
Always use a suitable dust extraction system:
Connect an L-class and over vacuum cleaner to
the extractor connection piece.
For optimal dust extraction, use the connecting sleeve.
