BEFORE STARTING FOR THE FIRST TIME
• Remove all packing material.
• Clean the unit before using it for the first time (see CLEANING AND CARE).
ASSEMBLY
8
• Turn the cover cap (2) off in the direction LOOSEN from the rotor shank (9). Then remove the fixing ring (4) from the
9
threads (9) in the counter-clockwise direction. Set the rear protective guard (5) with the bulge on the fan head (10) in
10
such a manner, that the hollow tray fits on the fan head (10). Screw on the fixing ring (4) on the threads (9) turning it in
the clockwise direction.
11
• Now pull off the small safety hose from the rotor shank (9).
• Insert the rotor blade (3) on the rotor shank (9). The small pieces protruding from the rotor shank (9) must be fitted
precisely into the openings on the rear side of the rotor blade (3).
12
• Now secure the rotor blade (3) by rotating the cover cap (2) in the direction indicated by TIGHTEN.
• Fix the front protective guard (1) on the hooks on the rear protective guard (5). Secure the protective guards (1, 5)
against unintended opening by using the fixing screw. Slide the holder brackets over the edges of the protective guard
13
(1, 5).
• Engage the two parts of the pedestal (16) in such a manner that they form a cross (refer to the figure). Attach the
14
telescopic tube (14) to the pedestal (16) using the four screws supplied.
• You can use the cover (15) to conceal the screws.
15
• Now mount the fan head (10) on the telescopic tube (14). Set the height adjustment (13) of the telescopic tube (14) by
rotating counter-clockwise to loosen it. You can now reset the length of the telescopic tube (14) as desired. Then tighten
the telescopic tube (14) again by rotating the height adjustment (13) clockwise.
• Loosen the locking screw (7) and set the fan head (10) on the telescopic tube (14). Now you can tighten the locking
16
screw (7).
OPERATION
• Connect the main plug (12) to a suitable socket.
