SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• This device may be only used by children 8 years old or older and persons with
limited physical, sensory and mental capabilities and / or lack of experience
and knowledge, provided that they have been instructed in use of the device by a
responsible person who understands the associated risks.
• Only connect the device to sockets that correspond to the specified voltage.
• Place the appliance on a dry, level surface away from children.
• Only switch on the appliance if there is enough water in the water tank.
• Allow the unit to cool for 15 minutes between 2 runs.
• Unplug the appliance after use.
• Never immerse the base in water.
• If the unit malfunctions, do not attempt to disassemble it. Repairs may only be
carried out by trained specialists.
• If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, an
authorized service center, or a similarly qualified person.
• The device is only suitable for household use.
• Keep the device out of the reach of children.
• Do not use the appliance if the plug, power cord or the appliance itself is damaged.
• The knife is very sharp. Therefore, be careful when inserting, removing or cleaning
the knife.
• If the knife becomes jammed during use, first unplug it from the wall outlet. Only
then remove the contents that block the knife.
• During steaming, the appliance becomes very hot. Be careful not to burn yourself
and use the handles when lifting the blender jug.
• When cooking, hot steam may escape from the blender jug and water tank. Be
careful not to get scalded by it.
• Do not leave the appliance unattended during operation.
• Disconnect the plug before cleaning, assembling and disassembling the appliance.
• Allow the appliance to cool completely before cleaning.
• Empty the water tank after each use.
• Make sure that the knife is not covered with food until you switch on the steamer
function.
• Do not move the appliance during use.
• Do not fill the water tank while steaming, otherwise hot water and steam may
escape from the appliance. Before opening the lid to add more ingredients, make
sure it has cooled down accordingly.
• Do not insert any objects into the opening of the water tank.
