Registering repeaters at a base
station S 851-...
• Unplug the power supply unit at
the base station.
• Place ready all the repeaters you
wish to use in this system. For the

with a sufficient number of con

than 2 m from the base station is
required.
• Plug in the power supply unit at
the base station. The base station is
booting up; after around 1 minute
the LED flashes green. The base sta
tion is in the registration mode for
around 2 minutes.
• Repeaters can be registered during
this period. Insert the repeater in the
socket. The LED "b" flashes green
for around 5 seconds and lights up
permanently after registration is
complete.
• Insert additional repeaters if
required, until all of them (max. 6)
have been registered.
• The base station switches off the
registration mode automatically after
around 2 minutes and is then ready
for operation.
• Determine the locations of the
repeater/repeaters, so that they
guarantee reliable function (LED "b"
green) and plug them in.
• The quality of the wireless signal is
signalled by the LED "b":
green: good signal
yellow: adequate signal
red: no signal
