Make Electrical Connections
STOP!!! If installing optional Shroud/Slip Ring or Towel Dispensers, complete
those installations before proceeding to Step 4 (see next page).

Connect Drain
Off-Line Vent (Type A or O): Connect 1-1/2" P-Trap and
drain piping (supplied by installer) to the drain spud.
Centrally Rising Vent (Type B or H) or models with
optional paper towel dispensers: Connect the vented
P-Trap (provided) and drain piping as shown:

Turn on Water and Electricity, Test and Adjust Unit
A
Turn on power to transformer. The solenoids will buzz
when a sensor is activated. If no buzz, check wiring.
Check to make sure stop/check valves are open
before turning on water.

Your Sentry Washfountain MUST be
connected to 24 VAC transformer
provided. Connection to 110 VAC will
result in damage to the electronics
and could result in personal injury.
Refer to Instruction Sheet 215-1503
for more information.
24 VAC from transformer. Attach minimum18-gauge
wires (supplied by installer) to transformer screw
terminals using 1/4" Quick-Connects.

Turn on water supply and check for leaks. Activate
each IR Sensor to purge air from the lines.

Check temperature when approximately

1.0GPM (2 wash stations) is reached. Adjust
water temperature with bladed screwdriver.
Maximum temperature is 115°F (46°C.)
The Vernatherm TMV valve is NOT factory
preset. Upon installation, this valve must be
checked and adjusted to ensure delivery of
a safe water temperature. Water in excess
of 110°F (43°C) may cause scalding.
