CONE WAKE-UP LIGHT
• Only use the supplied mains adapter.
• Do not pull the plug out of the socket by its lead.
• Route the mains lead so that it does not come into contact with
sharp-edged or hot objects.
Caution!
Risk of injury:
• Keep this instrument and the batteries out of reach of children.
• Batteries must not be thrown into the fire, short-circuited, taken
apart or recharged. Risk of explosion!
• Batteries contain harmful acids. Low batteries should be changed as
soon as possible to prevent damage caused by a leaking battery.
Never use a combination of old and new batteries together or bat-
teries of different types.
• Wear chemical-resistant protective gloves and glasses when handling
leaked batteries.
Important information on product safety!
• Do not place the unit near extreme temperatures, vibration or shock.

6. Getting started
• Open the battery compartment and insert 2 batteries 1.5 V AA,
observing the correct polarity.
• The batteries will operate as a backup power source in case of power
failure. A new setting is not necessary.
• Operation with batteries only: No radio and light
• Insert the adapter into the jack. Connect the power adapter to a wall
socket. Important! Make sure that your household voltage is 230V!
Otherwise your clock may be damaged.
• Please do not place the power supply cable with the temperature
sensor near a heater.
• A short beep will sound, all LCD segments will light up and the light
turns on for a few seconds.
• The display shows the current temperature.
• Pull off the protection foil on the display.
• The unit is now ready to use.

7. Operation
7.1 Manual setting of clock and calendar
• Press and hold the MODE/ENTER button for 2 seconds.
• The time format flashes.
• With the +/NEXT or -/PREV button you can select between 12 (PM
appears on the display after 12 h) and 24 hours system indication.
• Press MODE/ENTER button to confirm it.
• The hour digits are flashing.
• Press +/NEXT or -/PREV button to adjust the hours.
• Press MODE/ENTER button again and the setting sequence is shown
as follows: Minutes, year, date, month/day sequence (American ver-
sion) or day/month (European version), month, day and the tempera-
ture unit (°C or °F). Press +/NEXT or -/PREV button to make the
desired settings.
• Press and hold +/NEXT or -/PREV button, you will enter fast mode.
• During operation, all successful settings will be confirmed by an
acoustical signal.
• The instrument will quit automatically the setting mode, if there is
no button used within 10 seconds.
7.2 Radio operation
• Press the RADIO button to switch on the radio.
• The received radio frequency appears on the display.
• Each key press with the +/NEXT or -/PREV button will increase the fre-
quency by 0.05 MHz.
• Press and hold +/NEXT or -/PREV button for three seconds to start
auto-scanning for the next closest radio station.
• Press VOLUME (+/-) switch to adjust the desired volume.
• If the reception is weak, try to orient the antenna for a better recep-
tion.
• Press the RADIO button to switch off the radio.
7.3 Radio station program setting
• You can memorize your 5 favorite stations and recall by just pushing
a button.
• Press the RADIO button to switch on the radio.
• Press PRESET/ALARM ON/OFF button.
• CH1 appears on the display. Wait until the radio frequency appears
in the display.
• Press +/NEXT or -/PREV button to adjust the desired station.
• Press and hold PRESET/ALARM ON/OFF button to save the station.
• Save in the same way other radio stations (up to 5).
• Press the PRESET / ALARM ON / OFF button twice, three, four or five
times.
• CH 2, CH 3, CH 4 or CH 5 appears in the display.
• Press PRESET/ALARM ON/OFF button again to recall all preset sta-
tions one after the other.
7.4 Manual setting of alarm time
1. Alarm time
• Press MODE/ENTER button once and you enter the setting mode for
the first alarm time.
• 1 flashes on the display.
• Press and hold the MODE/ENTER button for 2 seconds.
• The hour digit is flashing and the alarm symbol appears on the dis-
play.
• Press +/NEXT or -/PREV button to adjust the hours.
• Press MODE/ENTER button to confirm it.
• Set minutes in the same way.
• Press and hold +/NEXT or -/PREV button, you will enter fast mode.
• Confirm with MODE/ENTER button.
