INITIALIZING THE TOUCH BAR

The digital touch-bar must be initialized before first time use and after re-mounting.
1. Power on the touch bar by pressing the
on/off button.

2. Press and hold the on/off button for
approximately 7 seconds until
flashes on the display.
3. Obtain the 1 m calibration rod. Stand the rod
vertically against the height rod channel as
shown.
4. Ensure that the touch bar is above the
reference mark. Then push the touch bar
down until it touches the top of the calibration
rod. Press the on/off button and "100.0" will
flash on the display.
NOTE: if there is no calibration rod, any 1m
measuring stick or rod can be used.
NOTE: wrong initializing will cause height value
error.
5. Move the touch bar up the height rod channel
until it passes the reference mark, beeps and
flashes on the display. Move the
touch bar down the height rod channel until it
passes the reference mark again, beeps, and
a height measurement appears on the
display. The height rod is now ready for use.
