Installation
Screw (included)
1. Drill two pilot holes in the location where you want to mount the Utility light. You can use the battery
compartment as a guide to see where the screws have to go.
2. Screw battery compartment in pre-drilled holes using screws (included). Prongs should face down as
shown.
3. Attach the Utility light to battery compartment by lining up prongs with the openings on the light.
Once lined up, turn light clockwise to lock in place.
Operating Directions
ON/OFF Operation
1. Push light head or pull cord to turn ON.
2. Push light head or pull cord again to turn the light OFF.
CAUTION: When using the pull cord to operate the light, make sure not to pull the cord too hard to rip
unit off mounting surface.
Inserting/Replacing the Batteries
If the LEDs appear to be dim this is an indication that your batteries need to be replaced.
To Replace Batteries Once Utility Light is Mounted:
1. Utility Light body will release from battery compartment cover/mounting bracket easily. Turn light
counter-clockwise in oder to unlock unit from battery compartment.
2. Remove old batteries (if replacing batteries).
3. Replace with three (3) new AA batteries.
4. Make sure to follow battery polarity guide when installing new batteries.
5. Attach the Utility light to battery compartment by lining up prongs with the openings on the light.
Once lined up, turn light clockwise to lock in place.
Battery Precautions:
1. Use only the size and type of batteries specified.
2. Always purchase the correct size and grade of battery most suitable for the intended use.
3. Be sure to follow the correct polarity when installing the batteries as indicated in the battery compartment.
Reversed batteries may cause damage to the device.
4. Do not mix alkaline, standard (Carbon-Zinc), or rechargeable (Nickel Cadmium) batteries.
5. Replace all batteries of a set at the same time. Do not mix old and new batteries.
6. Clean the battery contacts and also those of the device prior to battery installation.
7. Do not dispose of batteries in fire.
8. Remove batteries if consumed or if product is to be left unused for an extended period of time.
