When selecting this menu a window like the one shown in the next figure appears:
This function is divided in two columns. The right column, called Channel Plan
Library shows the channel plan files stored in our computer (channel plan files have
the extension ch8). The New button at its right permits channel plans to be created
and the Edit button permits to modify any existing plan. When one of this options is
selected a window like the previous picture appears on the screen (empty if we select
the New option). This window shows all the information contained in the channel plan
under study.
The left column of the Channel Plan Group window shows a Channel Plan Group.
A Channel Plan Group is a set of Channel Plans we can store in a PROMAX-10/8+/8,
i.e. standard factory channel Plan Group is made up of the following channel plans:
CCIR, CCIRUK, EIA, FCC, OIRL and STD2L. The channel plan group maximum size is
10 channel plans composed of 140 channels each. Channel Plan Groups are stored
under the extension tx8.
Five buttons on the left side permit to make the following operations on channel
plans groups:
Open: Allows to open a Channel Plan Group file (tx8 extension).
Save: Allows to save the current Channel Pan Group.
New: Allows to create a new Channel Plan Group. When selecting this option
current channel plan group disappears.
Allows to edit one Channel Plan of the Channel Plan Group.
Edit:
Delete: Allows to delete a Channel Plan from the Channel plan Group.
Rename: Allows to rename a Channel Plan Group file.
