GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS IMPORTANT GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS In case of a malfunction or breakdown, grounding reduces the risk of electrical shock by providing a path of least resistance for electrical current. This Patform Lift has an electrical receptacle with an equipment grounding conductor. The receptacle must have a matching plug that is properly installed and grounded according to all local or other appropriate electrical codes and ordinances installed for charging.

GETTING TO KNOW YOUR PLATFORM LIFT SYSTEM PLATFORM LIFT SYSTEM The Platform Lift System functions both as a portable workbench and a lift to move components from floor level to a working level. The Platform Lift System can be positioned behind the RG5500 reel grinder to transfer cutting units from a secondary locations to the rear of the reel grinder.

ADJUSTMENTS PLATFORM SIDE BEARING ASSEMBLIES There are four side bearing assemblies (two on each side) of the platform. The two on the left side looking from the platform side of the machine are fixed with screws and washers. See FIG 3. The two on the right side looking from the platform side of the Platform Lift are spring loaded against the main frame.

ADJUSTMENTS (Continued) LIFT CHAIN AND PLATFORM ADJUSTMENT 5/16-18 Jam Nylon Loc Nut The roller chain used to drive the platform vertically has an adjustment to align the platform to the machine main frame at the top position. To adjust, raise the platform to the top position. Remove the removable back panel.

CONOCER SU ESTACIÓN DE TRABAJO SISTEMA MONTACARGAS El sistema montacargas funciona a la vez como estación de trabajo portátil y como montacargas para levantar componentes desde el nivel del piso al nivel de trabajo. El sistema montacargas puede ubicarse detrás de la rectificadora de carrete RG5500 para transferir unidades de corte desde otras ubicaciones a la parte trasera de la rectificadora de carrete.
