USE
CHANGING THE GAS CYLINDER
Caution!
Read the safety instructions prior to fitting a gas cartridge for the first time.

- Fit the cartridge outdoors or in a well-ventilated room, well away from any sources of heat.
- Only use cartridges as descibed above.
- Position the cartridge holder vertically on a stable surface.
- Insert the cartridge in an upright position into the cartridge holder.
- Check that the rubber valve is intact in the body of the torch.
- Check that the gas regulator is closed.
- Hold the cartridge holder and screw the torch into the cartridge holder.
- Check for gas leakages. Hold the device with a gas cartridge fitted under water for two minutes. Bubbles
indicate a leakage.
- If gas escapes from the system (smell of gas), take the system outdoors immediately to a well-
ventilated location away from sources of ignition where the leak can be safely detected and repaired.
Never check for leaks using a flame; always use a soapy solution! Keep the system under close observance
until the leaked gas has dissipated completely.
- Caution! To prevent leaks once the cartridge has been perforated it is forbidden to unscrew the
cartridge holder until the gas has been completely used up.
- Check that the gas is released properly by briefly opening the regulator.

- This appliance may only be used in well-ventilated areas. Do not use the device in the proximity of heat sources
- Set the air flow regulator as required The higher the air flow, the hotter the flame.
- Position the device on a horizontal, stable and non-slippy surface.
