Possible cause
Insufficient power supply.
The measured tempera-
ture is above 300 °C.
The measured tempera-
ture is below 0 °C.
Probes are not connected
properly.
Battery charge is below
20%.

Solution
Make sure the batteries have
been inserted correctly and
have enough charge.
Remove the probe/thermo-
meter. Lower the tempera-
ture.
Increase the temperature.
Check if the probes are
connected properly.
Check if the probe prot-
rudes from the food being
prepared or if the tip is on a
bone. Adjust the position if
necessary.
Replace the batteries
promptly.
