Check Kennel Alignment Step For the best roof fi t, the kennel should be squared, which means that each kennel corner is at a 90 degree angle. Using the measuring tape, measure the kennel diagonally from corner to corner. If your measurement is less than or equal to one half inch (13mm), your kennel is square. -
